Residential Handbook
While on duty, you see a resident in the communal bathroom trying to stuff an open can of beer into their front sweatshirt pocket, to drippingly terrible results. They are embarrassed but compliant. How do you respond?
You ask the resident to pour the beer into the sink and take a photo of the can (don’t touch the can). Because they were compliant, you call the RD on duty and wait. Make the resident stay with you. File a Conduct Referral
While walking around a floor while on duty, you can smell weed, but cannot narrow it down to 3 rooms, it seems to be coming from a bathroom. Do you need to fill out a referral form or call the Pitt Police?

You find a dime bag containing white powder during room checks. What do you do?
Call the RD on duty and Pitt Police. Do not touch the bag. Await further instructions from RD, but be prepared to file a conduct referral and residential handbook report.
On duty, you and your partner check a lounge and hear screaming. When you enter, you see two residents arguing and the argument is escalating. After calling Pitt Police and the RD on Duty, what report should be filed?
None! The RD and police will file a report.
