Name 3 renewable energy sources.
Solar, Hydro, Wind power
Explain what Abiotic resources are.
Abiotic resources come from non-living or non-organic materials. Some examples are land, water, air, and metals like gold and silver.

Explain what Biotic resources are.
Biological Resources that are living or come from living things
out of these items listed which ones are considered non renewable
Wind, Natural Gas, Petroleum, Water, Sunlight, Propane, Uranium, Biomass, Natural Gas
Wind, Biomass, Water, and Sunlight is renewable (Bonus Points)
Coal, Propane, Uranium, Natural Gas, and petroleum is non-renewable.
What is a renewable resource?
A renewable resource is a resource that can be renewed and restored in a period of time that is less then a human life time.
Why is coal, oil, fossil fuel etc. nonrenewable?
It was formed in the Earth's crust millions of years ago by the decomposition of plants and animals, and it is formed in time that is longer than a lifespan/lifetime.
How does Biomass work?
Biomass is when a organic matter collects energy through a process called photosynthesis. Then the organic matter is burned and creates steam. The steam turns a turbine which creates electricity.
List 10 natural resources.
Air, water, trees, coal, soil, animals, rain, wind, food, oil, etc.
What is one disadvantage of coal?
It causes air pollution along with other fossil fuels.
Ask another group a question on renewable resources, if they answer it correctly, they get the point, if they can't answer it and you can, you get the point otherwise, other groups can steal.
Answers will vary.
In 2025, approximately what percent did the coal, and renewable resource take up. (hint it equals 42.7%)
Coal: 17%
Renewable: 25.7%
Natural Gas: 40% and the rest was miscellaneous
How does wind a windmill work?
Wind goes through the blade and unevens the presure which makes the blades spin.
