With every decision you make, there are consequences. What is the definition of a consequence?

Someone being upset, going to the principals office, phone call home, further disciplinary action (ex: getting something taken away).
Maybe others won't want to be your friend, it will hurt your character, building a negative reputation for self.
A student came home from school, and when her parent asked her how school went she immediately started crying. Name two things that could have happened in school that made this student go home upset.
student could have gotten a bad grade, could have done something wrong and got in trouble for it (what could they have done wrong?), could have been left out at recess or talked badly to by another student, etc.
Examples:
Offering for them to go first on the lunch line, letting them answer the teachers' question first, letting them pick first in the prize box.
a Boy wants to join in on football at recess but is feeling uncomfortable and doesn't know what to expect. How can you make the student feel more comfortable about joining in?
