This is when someone pays for Services & Supports, housing, healthcare or activities with their own resources.

This is a fine imposed on entities that violate certain laws and regulations. In long term care, they are usually imposed by CMS (state).

This should be completed in order for the center to be paid accurately for the care that is provided.
What is accurate documentation?
The habit of thinking about the possibility that someone can get hurt or property can get damaged before a task is started.
What is safety awareness?
This is federal health insurance for anyone age 65 and older, and some people under 65 with certain disabilities or conditions.
What is Medicare?
This is insurance that provides cash benefits and/or medical care for workers who are injured or become ill as a direct result of their job
What is workers compensation?
This one of the most wasted supplies in the centers.
What are gloves?
Involving or expressing moral approval or disapproval;
conforming to accepted standards of conduct
What is ethical?
This is when money flows into the center and out of the center.
What is a revenue and an expense?
This is needed to provide for the patients care if noted as a part of the patient's care plan or assessments (hint it gets them from one surface/place to another).
What is a transfer lift, wheelchair, walker, etc??? (Equipment and building needs)
These items should be rotated frequently to ensure that they do not have to be destroyed because they have expired.
What are stock medications, food supplies, supplements, etc?
The person that can make sure that they have a positive impact on the center's revenue.
