The water source in Jericho was not clean, so they asked Elisha to purify it. Elisha said to them, “Put some salt in a new bowl and bring it to me”. They brought it to him, and he went to the spring, threw the salt in the water and said, “O Lord, make this water pure so that it will not cause any more deaths or miscarriages”. And the water became pure ever since, just as Elisha said it would be.
He became warm again, sneezed 7 times, and opened his eyes.
