Assuming we have 120PSI shop or truck pressure.

What is the preferred EMC pressure for our inspectors?

What about service?

115 EMC, 95 SER

100

What are the two values posted on the wall directly next to our department?

Customer Service, knowledge.

What causes each electrical short technically?

Open circuit?

Open ground?

circuit short?

Chassis Short?

Open circuit= 0.00 Amp draw, no current

Open ground=no ground detected

Circuit short = power on another pin when primary pin is activated

Chassis short= current draw above 23 AMPS on inspectors, 20 from the software on certifier, 22.5 AMP on certifier board

ABS units have a configuration of XS/XM. (EX 2S/2M)

What does the S, and the M stand for?

S= Sensor, specifically wheel speed

M= module, used to manage sensors.

200

What type of valve do we use to prevent pressure from entering the system during an air leak test?

solenoid valve

200

Name three other LC values

adaptability, teamwork, quality.

If I wanted to adjust my Netsuite email signature or the text/color of my set up, where would I go?

Set Preferences

300

What is the Full voltage for our tester with a power supply? With a Battery?

What is the full voltage of a Certifier 1200 HUB?

13.78 V from power supply

12.6 V from Battery

16.3+ V

300

Does having extra items wired to the AUX circuit on the trailer improve or weaken the communication between the tster and the ABS?

Weaken, it pulls power away from the ECU, and creates interference for the PLC signal.

300

We often recommend Clean, Dry air for customers, why is that important?

Moisture or oil in the air causes our solenoid valves to degrade/ get stuck over time.

300

What value does LC attribute its success to over the years?

Customer Service

300

What is the difference between a 11212, a 11212-R, a 11212-S and 11212-W?

Regular items are for usage in new builds or new orders, R items are place holder for repair estimates, S items are for used in repair work orders, W items are for warranty repair work orders or warranty orders.

400

At what input voltage does the inspector show "Low voltage?"

At what Voltage does the Certifier HUB show "Low Voltage?"

11.5V for inspector

14.3V for Certifier 1200 HUB

400

What are the two types of ABS faults our system detects?

Is our system a read only system or can it write as well?

Can our system clear these faults?

Active and Stored

Read Only

Yes

400

Our testers have 2 quick exhaust valves on the inspector manifold. What is their purpose?

When pressure is disengaged, these are what allows the pressure from the manifold and front of the trailer vent, which triggers the air venting on the trailer.

500

What is the purpose for having an ECU load test.

Why is that valuable?

To check the ECU voltage when all other circuits are under load.

It allows us to identify potential power delivery issues to the ECU if other circuits are active as well. Helps us see voltage loss along the circuit.

500

What would explain pressure slowly increasing from 113 & 93 PSI to 120 & 97 PSI over 2 minutes during the air leak test?

Air leak Solenoid valve is not shutting completely, it is still allowing air to the system. Manifold replacement is the only fix.

If you are creating a sales order, rma, or estimate, and you don't know the part number you need, what is the best way to find it?

Using the search the function, and then the keyword option to type the name of the part number, to find the part number.
