Didn't bow down to idol. Told King Nebuchadnezzar they wouldn't do it. Were willing to face death than bow down.
Peter and John were thrown in prison for teaching Jesus. An angel of the Lord came at night, opened the gates of the jail, and brought them out. Then the angel told them, "Go to the Temple and give the people this message of life!”.

The ability to make yourself do things you know you should do even when you do not want to.

What does it mean to fear the Lord?
The fear of the Lord is not about being afraid of Him.
It is about acknowledging His awesomeness and showing a deep respect and reverence for Him.

Why is too much self confidence a problem?
•The Bible forbids us from being Narcissistic/Arrogant (Romans 12:16)
•Can negatively impacts our relationships with others (Philippians 2:3-4)

How did Gideon and/or his soldiers show courage?
Ananias and Sapphira told everyone they were giving all the money from the sale of their house to God (Acts 5:1-11). But that wasn’t true. They had agreed to secretly hold back some of the money for themselves.
What was the result?
God struck them dead—not for keeping some of the money, but for lying about it (Acts 5:4).
