Describe battle of Thermopylae 

After battle of Marathon, son of Darius wanted to conquer Greek's territory and began the Second Persian War. He had an army force of about 100 000 men. Spartans had about 300 soldiers led by king Leonidas. Spartans stopped the Persians at a narrow mountain pass called Thermopylae and it lasted invaders for days. Then, a Greek traitor showed another path through the mountains. Greeks died heroically in defense of Greece

What were the consequences of Pax Romana (positive)?

One of the greatest legacies of the Pax Romana was the spread of Roman culture to Western Europe. Roman rule in the semicivilized areas of Gaul (Modern-day France), Britain, and Spain and Augustus’ establishment of peace during this time period meant that there were Roman troops permanently stationed in the provinces. These factors helped Romanize and civilize provinces in the distant regions of the empire. Romans treated their conquered peoples well and Roman prosperity was promoted in these regions. The peoples of conquered regions did not hesitate to copy Roman-style dress, language, architecture, and government. The Roman Empire covered an immense stretch of land. The powerful military and Romanization of conquered peoples allowed Rome to extend throughout the Mediterranean region, from Spain to the western parts of Asia.
