1. His blood covers FOR our sins. He paid the debt of our sins.
2. His blood covers us in the presence of our Holy God, so we don't have to fear being consumed by Him.

Why do we pray?
To communicate with God.
How does Jesus fulfill our need for a high priest and animal sacrifices?
Jesus is our high priest because He is the mediator between us and God. He is our perfect sacrifice because He lived a perfect life and satisfied God's requirement for atonement for all people, forever.
How do we produce the fruit of the spirit?
Not by our own will, but by allowing the Holy Spirit to transform us from the inside out.
What is the purpose of taking Communion?
To remember Jesus' sacrifice.
Explain Sanctification.
Sanctification is a process. From the moment we accept Jesus to the time we meet Him face to face, we are being transformed into His image.
What is the purpose of biblical fasting?
To deny your flesh (of food) and feed your spirit (with prayer and bible reading).
What does it mean for us to eat Jesus' flesh and drink His blood?
To take on who He is, His characteristics, His likeness.
Ancient people believed 'you are what you eat'
Explain Justification.
Justification is a moment. We are declared righteous in God's sight when we accept our need for a savior, Jesus.
Explain Glorification.
Glorification is the last step. We are made Holy. God gives us new bodies and we enter into New Creation.
If the purpose of being a Christian is not to live a better life, or be a better person; what is it?
To be a reflection/ image of God. To renew the earth, to make disciples.
