What two distinct qualities does the conditional mood have in common with 1) the imperfect tense and 2) the future tense?
It uses the same verb endings as the imperfect.
It conjugates the same way as the future- adds onto the infinitive or uses the irregular stems.
Explain in English what happened between the following two sentences:
Yo regalé una bicicleta a mi hermano ayer.
Yo se la regalé ayer.
In the first sentence it states that I gifted a bicycle to my brother yesterday. Then it was written in abbreviated form: I gave it to him yesterday. The 'se' replaced the original 'le' as an IDOP and the 'la' replaced the bicycle.
