What is a motion?
The time during the meeting that members of the board give their opinions on a motion pending before the board.

This motion made at the end of the meeting is NOT debatable.
What is the motion to adjourn?
A basic technique to get business before the board using the language, "I move...."
What is to make a motion?
The first order of business.
What is the Call to Order?
Person who starts the motion.
Who is the maker of the motion?
The phrase that directs comments to the Chair to maintain decorum and avoid personal attacks.
What is "through the Chair..."?
Speaking more than once before all members of the board who wish to speak have spoken.
What is out of order?
"Moment of Personal Privilege."
What is a statement used to interject information NOT related to the agenda of the meeting - for example, "I can't hear because the room is too noisy"; or "I'd like to wish my wife Happy Anniversary on our 40th wedding anniversary today"?
