What is "Lockout the Interlock"?
After announcing the intention to move and the direction the robot or fixture will go.
When can the robot or fixture be moved while multiple people are in the cell?
Pressing this button will simultaneously cut power to the servos, stop the program, and engage the brakes on the robot joints.
What is an E-Stop?
This safety system stops the robot after an impact. It protects the robot, not you.
What is a "Shock Sensor"?
In a cell where the robots can be accessed without entering an enclosure, consumables can be changed out by operators as long as they don't do this.
What is "change the operating mode"?
Primarily to prevent arc flash, this activity must not only be announced but the person holding the teach pendant must get a response from everyone else in the cell before performing this action.
What is "Weld Testing"?
This three-position switch ensures that all movements in Teach mode are voluntary and intentional.
