What are minerals?

What are sediments?
The general name of the existing rock that gets changed into metamorphic rock
What is parent rock?
An organic rock made of microscopic shells
What is chalk?
A repeated series of events that changes rocks from one form to another
What is the rock cycle?
Igneous rocks that formed on Earth's surface
What is extrusive rocks?
A type of sedimentary rock formed from seashells and other remains of organisms
What is biochemical sedimentary rock?
A type of metamorphism that occurs over a large area

The texture that igneous rocks have when they form so quickly that crystals don't have time to form
