500

Is an example of a rock.

Granite, gold, mica, etc.

600

Form deep within the earth and the rock goes through a chemical rearrangement.

What is metamorphic rock

600

It's melted rock inside the earth.

What is magma.

What is change.

600

are in organic and have a definite crystal structure

What are minerals
700

Describe the rock cycle.

The rock cycle is a never-ending cycle of rocks changing. Igneous rocks are formed when molten rock cools and crystalizes. Igneous, or other types of rock, can then erode into sediments. These sediments are then compacted and cemented together over time. If a rock experiences heat and pressure deep within the earth, it can go through a chemical rearrangement to create a metamorphic rock.

Is how hardness is measured
What is Mohs scale
