No. However, the average person is able to dissolve a small mint in their mouth within an 8 minute time frame, so this shouldn't be a problem.

Never fear! First, identify who the judge is and the product or service you will be selling. Skim the packet and look for important details to help support your presentation. After creating this list, go back and read the packet and take down any other notes you find interesting or useful. These could come in handy during your role play!

Ask the judge! Instead of saying you don't understand, ask them what the problem is. Using what they say, you will be able to understand the situation and hopefully think of ideas!

How do I initiate conversation for a sales role play?
Follow the ANPOCS approach. You've already approached the judge. Ask them to identify their needs. You can incorporate their needs into the presentation of the product or service to personalize the sale for them.

Some events will have two judges. Describe how you will communicate with them if one is looking at you while the other is writing?
Basically this: You will speak to the first judge. When the second judge looks up, alternate your time between each judge. Once the second judge looks down, focus back on the first judge.
