Rich little girls got to go to school and were supposed to be seen not heard.

Poor women would wake up at the same time as their husbands and work in the fields and/or clean around the house.

Poor little girls were taught everything that rich little girls were but they learned it at home because they couldn't afford to go to school.

Poor boys didn't go to school they stayed home and learned how to run their fathers farm/business.

You were considered old when you became weak.

They worked in their fields/shops and if they were craftsman they worked on that.

No, women were considered to be inferior to men and weren't really valued.

Girls rich and poor were taught how to spin, weave, cook, and clean so that they could be a good wife for their future husband.

Rich boys went to school to learn how to read, write in Latin and Greek, do math, and make speeches. These skills were important if they wanted to have a job in the government.

The old were portrayed as avericious, cowerdly and querulous.

Rome was a very man ruled society. The men were in charge of everything in the family from the money to shopping.

Very few women had jobs. If they did have jobs they were usually midwives, lampmakers or hairdressers.

Girls wore a simple tunic that went down to their knees. When they left the house they wore a tunic that went down to their feet.

Boys married whoever their dads wanted them to and they were not allowed to get married before the age of fifteen.

When girls were fourteen their fathers planned their marriage then they gor married and went to live with their husbands and their husbands family.
What was important for boys about the age of fifteen.
Boys were allowed to get married at this age, they could vote and they could get a job. In otherwords they became full citizens.
What did the women do in their old age?
They still cooked and cleaned if they were poor and ordered servents around if they were rich untill they died.
