Diana's Story
What is her story? One day Diana was bathing with her nymph friends in the forest. A hunter named Actaeon accidentally stumbles upon them. Diana avoids men at all costs (hence why she is the goddess of unmarried women), and tells him she will not kill him in response to his begging for mercy. Instead, she transforms him into a stag and has his own hunting dogs tear him apart.

Apollo's Story
What is his story? Apollo was entranced by a goddess named Daphne; However, Daphne was a worshipper of Diana and was thus a virgin goddess. Despite this, Apollo persistently tries to make Daphne his. Daphne prays to Diana to keep her pure and is transformed into a laurel tree. Apollo takes a couple leaves and makes her one of his symbols to honor her.

Juppiter's Story
What is his story? Juppiter was married to Juno and they had their child Mars. Juppiter had an affair with one of his many goddesses, nymphs, and mortals behind Juno's back; she was a mortal named Io. Juno discovers that Juppiter has been having an affair with Io, so she plots to kill her. In an attempt to save Io, Juppiter turns her into a cow. Juno finds her and turns into a fly that buzzes into her ears, eventually driving her to the point of insanity.

Juno's Story
What is Juno's story? There was once a nymph named Echo that served Juno. Echo was bribed by Zeus to distract Juno while he had affairs; she was promised any man she wanted in return. Juno discovered that Echo had purposefully distracted her, kicked her out of her court, and cursed her to never start a conversation again. Echo wandered helplessly until she found a man named Narcissus and immediately fell in love. Narcissus was disturbed by her constant presence, as she could only repeat things he said. He ordered her off and she became a disembodied voice forever.
