On a regular day, what is the first thing you should do when you enter the classroom?
Check the screen for instructions and what we are going to do that day.

What is one of my biggest pet peeves?
When you pack up before I tell you to or you pack up while someone is presenting or sharing.
When should you use the RR and get a drink of water?
Before class, not while Ms. Jones is teaching, talking, or someone is sharing.
When do you have permission to pull your laptop out?
When you are told to get it out.

If you borrow something of mine, for example colored pencils or a charger, what should you do with it at the end of class?
PUT IT BACK.

The whole class will wait a minute after the bell.
What should you take with you to the RR besides a pass?
Water bottle. If you are caught with your phone, I will take it and you can pick it up from the office at the end of the day...if they choose to give it back to you.
If you leave the classroom for any reason, how should you come back into class?
Quietly. Politely. No one needs to know that you have returned. Phone call or email home if you disrupt the entire class coming back in.
What should you bring to class with your laptop and if you don't have one, you shouldn't disrupt class to get one?

When you start working, what can you do personally at your desk?
Listen to your own music.
What should you do if I have set a due date or I ask you to submit something?
Submit it by the due date. No late work.
During class, after all instruction and teaching is done, when can you use the RR?
When you are working. Do not hold up the RR sign while I am teaching or talking. I'm done with that.
TWO-PART QUESTION: If it is a Balderdash Day, what are you supposed to do when you come into class? Who are you supposed to work with?
You work with your table or someone nearby to come up with ONE response and turn the paper in the basket.
NEW IN 2026: If you don't have your laptop or you leave it in another classroom, how will you do your work?
On paper with a pencil. You can get your laptop at the end of class with a pass UNLESS it's the beginning of class and you can still go back and get it.
What happens if you use your phone for music through your laptop?
First time: You get to call or email home.
Second time: You get to call your principal.
What can you do if you are done with all work for our class?

What should you do if you left something in another class?
1. If the bell hasn't rung yet, go get it.
2. Let me know and I will give you a pass to go at the end of class.

You do your work that day on paper. No exceptions.
What happens if you are on games and I catch you?
First time: You get to call your parents from the classroom phone.
Second time: You get to call your principal.

Can you work in the hallway?
