When do we eat?
12:00 = Lunch
What if a mask gets dirty?
Easy! You can raise your hand and either ask for a disposable replacement, or you can raise your hand and ask to grab one of your own replacements.
When do we wash our hands?
1. When you arrive!
2. Before snack.
3. After snack.
4. Before lunch.
5. After lunch.
You pack up at your seat, then bring your coatroom materials to your desk.
Pick up students with siblings leave first, followed by pick up students without siblings, then finally bussers.
How do breakfast and lunch work?
Breakfast is free. You are welcome to help yourself first thing in the morning.
Lunch is free of charge for all students. In the morning, a lunch order is taken and lunch is delivered to the classroom.
What do you do if you are thirsty?
Raise your hand if you need a refill on water.
Pull your mask down momentarily to sip from your water bottle or cup.
Do I have to keep my mask on all day?
You can remove your mask for water, snack and lunch. Your mask needs to be on at all other times (including recess!)
When do we wipe our tables down?
Every day before snack we wipe down our tables with flex wipes.
What do we do with finished books?
Place them in the Book Quarantine!
Do we need to stay 6 feet apart?
The new rule is 3 feet apart unless you are eating.
When eating, you still need to be at your seat.
What if you don't have snack?!
Raise your hand, snack can be provided for you!

How long should you wash your hands for?
Hand washing should take about 20 - 30 seconds.
Use soap and please try to keep all water in the sink.
What is the deal with specials?
PE - Monday and Wednesday (sometimes indoors, sometimes outside)
Art - Tuesday (in person soon!)
Music - Thursday (in person)
Fridays - Rotate
What is recess like?
Recess is split into quadrants which we rotate through.
On occasion we will have indoor recess - sometimes this means we go to the gym.
Where do we eat?
We eat in the classroom. When food is out you must remain in your seat!
Do I really need to cough and sneeze directly into my mask?
Yes! That is why we wear them.
When do we use sanitizer?
As needed throughout the day.
Can we get up to use the bathroom whenever we want?
No - this year it is important that we make sure we raise our hand if we need something!
Can we play with other kids in the grade?
Unfortunately no - we are not allowed to mix cohorts.
Are treats for birthdays allowed?
Unfortunately, no.
Where do I put my mask when I am eating?
You can set it facedown on your desk or hang it from the front hook.
What are the bathroom procedures?
Ask to use the bathroom.
Use the bathroom.
Wash up.
What has to go back and forth to school each day?
Everything! Anything we are using in class each day should be going to and from school each day.
Can we bring in toys and fidgets?
If you bring something in that becomes a distraction during thinking blocks then you will no longer be allowed to bring it in.
