You are on duty and walking to the laundry room to take out some clothes you have in the dryer. Upon leaving your room you can hear a bunch of noise coming from one particular room on your floor. It just hit 10:00pm and it is officially quiet hours.

What should you do in this situation? (List each step in this process.)

Call your duty partner to meet you at the scene > Discuss a game plan > Knock on the door and address the residents about the noise level > Document any noise level or concerns during your experience.

This is based on a simple noise complaint incident. If you see any other issues involving alcohol, guest violations, controlled substances, etc. You should be contacting the Black Zone Coordinator. Contact UCFPD if necessary or instructed.
