Breakfast should be eaten in the cafeteria only, not in class. He should stay in the cafeteria to eat his breakfast. After unpack and then enter the homeroom.
Scenario: Liam grabs five books from the bookshelf while three other scholars are already book shopping. What should he have done?
Liam should have waited until only two scholars were at the shelf, then picked three books and signed them out.
Scenario: Imani and Shane asks to use the bathroom at the same time. Ms. Jones says Imani can go. Shane asks why can't he go as well since he's a boy?
The bathroom rule is that only one scholar is allowed out the classroom at a time to ensure safety.

For dismissal you silently enter the classroom and begin independent reading. There is no book shopping or computer usage during this time.

No one is allowed to exit the classroom without permission. Tyrese should wait for independent time, then silently signal for water. Once given permission he should take the pass and silently exit the class.

No one is allowed to run out of the classroom. Elijah should have waited until his table is called, then gotten his things safely.
Scenario: Chloe finishes her lunch early and leaves her garbage behind. What should Chloe do instead?
She should clean up. Everyone is responsible to help keep the lunchroom clean, especially during the last 5 minutes.
Scenario: Amir meets his class dojo points goal and is excited to go to the treasure box on Friday. He however, did not keep his hands to himself and did not follow directions that week. What will happen?
Amir will not be allowed to go into the treasure box.
Scenario: Laila in 5A tries to go sit with 5C tables at lunch so she can sit with her cousin. Is that okay?
No. Scholars should sit with their classes only.
Scenario: Noemi feels sick but doesn't tell anyone and puts her head down. What should Noemi do?
Noemi should silently raise her hand to advocate for herself, and wait to be called on. A teacher or SST will escort her to the nurse.
Scenario: Kayla talks to her friend in 4th grade during hallway transition. Is this okay?
No. Scholars should not talk to other grades during transitions and must walk silently in line with no gaps.
Scenario: Miles ignores the teacher's raised hand and keeps playing with the soccer ball. What did Miles do wrong?
When a teacher raises their hand, all scholars must immediately stop playing and line up for lunch.
Scenario: Bella plays cool math games on her Chromebook during AR time. What rule is Bella breaking?
Bella should only use school-approved websites and follow directions on what to do on the Chromebook. She will lose computer privileges for that day. Next offense is for a week then a month.
Malik does not meet his AR goal this week. What will happen?
On fun Friday he will be reading and quizzing. He will also carry a book outside during recess to read.

Aiden should only use his assigned computer, and if there’s an issue, tell a teacher. Never use another scholar’s device.
Scenario: Logan is late and goes straight to prep without checking in. What step did he miss?
Logan should have given his late pass to his homeroom teacher, unpacked, then gone to prep.
Scenario: Jayden forgets to return his Chromebook to the right slot, talks during transitions, and doesn’t line up when recess ends. How many procedures did Jayden forget? Can your team name them?
1) Chromebook should be returned in correct slot,
2) Transitions must be silent
3) Jayden must line up when teacher raises hand during recess.

He should have stopped speaking immediately, faced the teacher, and listened silently.

Neythan should have mentioned if there was an issue with the boys bathroom on the fourth floor to his teacher first.
