How can we show that we are listening to directions being given by a teacher or employee?
On the trip, you will each get to pick 5 apples. What if you do if you don't want your apples?
Pick them anyways! Then take them home or share them with a friend.
What type of clothes should we wear when it's hot outside?
Shorts, T-shirt, clothes that will keep us cool!

NO! Stay with your group or let a teacher know if you want/need to go somewhere.
What if you bring a cell phone, iPad or electronic to school or the field trip? Can you use them?
No! electronics are not allowed on the field trip.
What type of shoes should we wear?
Closed-toed, gym shoes, sneakers-- we will be doing A LOT of walking outside! Protect your feet!

A classmate is climbing on fences, trees, or dangerous areas.
TRUE or FALSE: To get a teacher's attention we should keep yelling their name until they respond to us, even if they are talking to someone else.
FALSE. Wait until they are done talking or quietly get their attention.
TRUE or FALSE: Take care of the orchard – no climbing trees, throwing apples, or littering.

What if you finish your lunch before everyone else?
Stay and chat with your friends! Lunch is a time to be social. Stay seated until teachers tell us it's time to do the next thing.
If the sun is out, what may we need for protection?
Sunglasses, a hat, and SUNSCREEN!

YES, tell! That is unsafe behavior and disrespectful to Royal Oaks Farm.
What kind of voice volume should we use on the bus? Why?
Quiet so that our bus driver can listen for trains and emergency vehicles.
What type of language should be used on the field trip?
Appropriate, no mean or bad language used with ourselves or others.
What if you want to buy something at the gift shop but don’t have enough money?
You need to find something that costs less to buy, no extra money will be provided by staff or other peers.
