Make sure they're sitting in their assigned seat, and seatbelts must ALWAYS be on while vehicle is in motion. Can also be told expectations before leaving.

What are coping skills used for?
Used to help self regulate yourself when you feel out of place (angry, sad, mad, anxious, afraid, etc.). Healthy and beneficial ways to help you come back to earth or ease your mind in the mean time.
Not everyone will use the same coping skill(s). Everyone is different and some work for others while others don't. Find what YOURS is.

If a resident were to take their seatbelt off while the vehicle is in motion, what will (should) happen next? Give as much details as possible.
Driver will pull over to a safe stop so resident(s) can be their seatbelt back on. If resident is failure to comply, disciplinary action can potentially be given. (RESET, community service, educational paper, etc.)
When a guest speaker or anyone that doesn't work at RPY comes to do an activity and/or presentation, what are the expectations?

If during off-site activity you need to use the restroom, what should you do?
Tell a staff member. DO NOT take off anywhere without letting a staff know.
Talk about Basic upkeep for the garden.
Make sure to water ALL garden beds everyday either early in the morning or at night when the sun is going down. We should do our best to not let soil get dry/hard.
Make sure weeds are not growing near plants. Ask before pulling out the weeds to make sure you aren't accidently pulling out our crops.
Roll up water hose when done watering, also water down any dirt/mud on sidewalk.

Why do we do off-site activities?
We do off-site activities for several reasons ranging from finding new hobbies, learning about new places, finding some type of interest or passion, give you the opportunity to enjoy an outing you may have never attended before, practice social skills/manners/respect, etc. One of the main reasons is to get you all outside of the facility to just let loose in a respectful & safe manner, to get your mind off whatever it is you have going on in that brain. That's why it is important (to me) that you all do your best to participate and come on these outings. You never know what you might like, and you ESPECIALLY WON'T know if you never try.
No right or wrong answer really, just wanted to see what you all would say.

Why do we visit the caring house?
We visit the caring house to do a good deed for the caring house residents. Very often do caring house residents have anyone visit them while they are staying there. Us being frequent visitors gives them that company that they may wish for and can be beneficial to their well being. At the same time, RPY residents practice respect, manners, companionship, etc.
