Aware of some pros and cons of substance abuse but feels unsure about change; no goals; undecided about change. Most likely over-estimating the pros or underestimating the cons.

The intentional and voluntary process of letting go of negative feelings, resentment, and anger towards someone who has wronged you. It's a conscious decision to release the hurt and desire for retribution, ultimately aiming to move forward with a more peaceful and healthy mindset.

What is Forgiveness?

 A common emotion characterized by feelings of fear, worry, unease, and apprehension. It can manifest as physical symptoms such as a racing heart, sweating, trembling, and difficulty concentrating.

The state of acknowledging and embracing a situation, feeling, or circumstance without resistance, even if it's difficult or unwanted. It involves recognizing things as they are, rather than how one wishes they were, and can be crucial for personal well-being and effective problem-solving.

A mental health condition that develops after experiencing or witnessing a traumatic event, such as war, natural disaster, violent crime, or personal loss. 

What is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder?

Consists of avoiding stressful thoughts or emotions rather than effectively dealing with them. Addictive substances or behaviors serve as a way to avoid these thoughts or emotions in the short-term, causing further long-term distress. Using a substance to self-medicate in this way can feel like the drug is keeping you alive, helping you function every day, but one must consider whether or not this is a short-term gain at a long term cost.

What is Radical Acceptance?
