No - you should not run in the building, and in the classroom there will be projects, experiments, and student work that should not be disturbed. Someone could get hurt.

When given the "okay". Often during work time, if there is extra time, or if we got out recess.

Raise hand and wait quietly.
Why do you need an open mind in the science classroom?
Everyone has ideas, and everyone's ideas are valid, and sometimes experiements don't go the way you plan.
Is there assigned seating all the time, sometimes, or never?
No - no assigned seating UNLESS to be successful as a class.
When is it NOT okay for me to talk with my friends?
Why can we NOT touch or mess with the paper covering the shelves?
That is the classroom teachers belongings and they are not for our use.

Ask/work with your traveling teacher.
