5:30am as that is what we are licensed for

At minimum once a week.
When soiled/dirty
When a different child will be occupying that crib or cot
When handling food, do you always need to glove up?
yes, unless you are not touching the food (exmple: just opening a bag)
What are the basic ratios for kids to adults?
infants 1-4

What is the maximum time between diaper changes and for potty breaks?
2 hours
On the schedule, how do you determine who opens and closes each room?
-OI - opens infant room

-CC - closes cafeteria
How often should toys/items in the room be cleaned and sanitized?
At least once a week. Have floaters help if needed. Try to do some at each naptime
When you have left over open food (say an open sleeve of crackers), what is the proper way to store them?
In a zip lock bag or sealed container and stored with original packaging (needs ingredient labeling)
Just rolling it up, putting a tie tab or rubber band on it is not acceptable

What happens if a child runs out of diapers?
We use the daycare stash and charge the parents $1 per diaper.
What should the openers be doing to open the rooms in the morning?
-put trash bags in trash cans
-put away clean toys and dishes
-mixed bleach water
-On Mondays, mix soapy water
-On Mondays, put cot/crib sheets on
-Turn on mini split or move to daily temp
-Clean/organize until kids arrive
When a child uses a daycare blanket and/or pillow for naptime, what should you do with them once naptime is done?
Put them in the dirty laundry to be washed or make sure to mark them so that child is the only one using those items until washed
Where can you find the serving sizes for each kid for each meal served?

one set of gloves per child

What is the proper way to clean/disinfect changing table and potty chairs?
-spray soapy water, wipe
-bleach (let set at least 2 minutes)
-Wipe or let air dry

spray soapy water, wipe, spray bleach, let set at least 2 minutes, can wipe off at that time or let air dry

Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming

dump bleach water out every night (soapy water on fridays)
Spray lysol on soft surfaces
put out laundry on Wednesday and Friday nights
Leave room neat and tidy (everything picked up and organized)

Wash is soapy water
Rinse
put in bleach water for at least 30 sec
let air dry
