Top of desk & underneath desk clear of materials and garbage, chairs tucked in
What are you supposed to do when it is time for a new subject? In class and leaving the class
Clear off and clean desk and desk area and either take out materials for next subject or sit/wait quietly and wait to be called to line up
How do you know which Chromebook is yours?
Your number on your name tag
What are the 6 classroom rules?
1. Treat others the way you want to be treated
2. Take care of your space - clean up after yourself
3. Always be respectful and use respectful language
4. Show active listening when others are speaking
5. Listen to and follow all classroom expectations
6. Raise your hand before getting up during a lesson
What is the supply center for? What rule applies when using this area?
When you need any supplies that you don't have you can borrow from there. Must return after using
What are you supposed to do with your lunch bags after lunch? What will happen if you don't do that?
Put it nicely against the wall in front of the classroom in a straight line
Lunch bags will be put in the lost and found
What is the procedure for entering the classroom and leaving the classroom?
Entering: Stand in a straight line and wait quietly against the wall - do not come in class until Ms. B says so
Leaving: Clean up desk and desk area, wait quietly to be called on, tuck in chairs, line up quietly
Who is allowed to hand out/put the Chromebooks away?
Tech helpers & Ms. B
How do you earn group points?
Desk/desk area is clean, no garbage, group is behaving appropriately (waiting quietly or on task)
Where do you hand in your work?
Turn in trays by subject
What is the coat hook area supposed to look like?
All bags zipped up, everything hung on hooks, nothing on the floor
What do you need to do when needing to use the washroom?
Washroom signal, sign out, take lanyard, sign back in when come back
What's the rule for phones? What are the consequences?
Phones stay off & in backpack during school hours. Allowed to use before and after.
Warning -> office -> parents come in to pick up phone
How can you show Ms. B respect? How do you treat guests who come into our classroom?
Hand signals during lessons, listen and give full attention when teaching/talking, follow instructions and expectations, participate in lessons
Stop what you are doing and give them your full attention, greet them, show active listening, participate when asking questions, be respectful
What do you do when you hear the classroom doorbell sound?
Stop what you are doing, look and listen, follow instructions given
What happens if your desk isn't clean?
Will lose recesses to stay in to clean
What's your routine coming back in from recess?
Snack time - grab snack, wash hands, sit in desk, stay seated, be quiet if show is on, clean up after self when done
What are you supposed to do during a lockdown?
1. Stop what you are doing and sit by the lockdown sign against that wall
2. Stay quiet the entire time - no fooling around. Do not open the door for anyone
3. Wait until police officer & principal open the door
What does it mean now that you are a 6th grader?
You are leaders of the school. Means you need to always be on your best behaviours, help out teachers and younger students when needed, and act as role models of the school
Where do the following go?

Clean up desk/desk area at 3:15, wait to be called to grab backpacks, line up & wait. Bus students leave at 3:20, everyone else 3:25
Explain the exact procedure during a fire drill
1. Stop what you're doing and line up
2. Line up in a straight line - last person closes door
3. Walk outside to the top of the field - face the field
4. Stay quiet entire time - hands to self, stand still, no fooling around
5. When done, walk back into school quietly
