Get a mop, cleaning rag or paper towel and clean up the mess.

Talk to your co-worker. Remind them of the correct temperature. If they do not listen talk to your boss immediately.
Most jobs that provide chemicals for you to use have to provide training in how to use them. If your boss hands you a chemical to use that you have not been trained in what should you do?
Ask your boss to provide the proper training in order to prevent a hazard.
