Collegiate- a regularly matriculated woman student who is enrolled at an institution where our fraternity is chartered, who has enrolled in and/or completed one music course (inclusive to gender nonconforming individuals)
Alumnae- women members who were initiated at the collegiate level
Patroness- for women who support the arts in the community, who have been invited by a collegiate or alumnae chapter to join SAI
Distinguished- the four subtypes are Member Laureate, Honorary Member, National Arts Associate, and Friend of the Arts.

The People to People Project: provides material assistance and encouragement to schools, music organizations, and musicians in developing countries throughout the world
