What is the Blog Creator?
Matcha’s Blog Creator is the feature that allows users to build their own blogs within Matcha. This replaces their need to build blogs within Wordpress, Shopify or in Google Sheets/Word docs.
What is content influenced revenue?
Revenue influence is attributed to any article read before purchase. If a user reads multiple articles before making a purchase, the revenue is attributed to all of those articles.
Who is the BEST fit for a Matcha upsell?

What are the 3 types of revenue that Matcha opens for Springbot?
(Hint: You've seen this at least twice)
1.) Upsell Matcha to existing customers
2.) PLG (product-led) MRR from self-signups
3.) Upselling of PQL's to full Springbot subscriptions
What is Locked Content?
Locked content is a tool for converting blog readers into email subscribers through lead entry forms inside of content.
There are two styles of embedded subscriber sign up forms in Matcha.
What is the difference between the two?
1.) locks the full article unless an email is entered.
2.) allows the user to embed the subscriber form anywhere in the article and does not restrict access.

What is a 'template'
Housed within the Blog Creator, templates allow a user to start their own blog with a relevant template instead of starting with a blank state. This should provide a jumpstart on formatting while also guiding the user through best practices for that type of article.
Examples include: product guide, SEO, Interview, Listicle, etc.

What is likely true of a company who is a fit for the $199/mo Matcha subscription?
They have a more robust email and social strategy, requiring more content to fuel these channels each month
More content allows more value to be provided across various marketing channels.
More content also allows better personalization, as you're able to give more unique experiences to your email lists which might look very different from one another.
Objection:
"Licensed content from Matcha's library will hurt my SEO, because duplicate content is penalized by Google."
No, it won't, as Matcha places a 'canonical tag' on the article that shows Google that you have legal right to use the article. There is absolutely no SEO issue from using this content.
I'm currently able to share my articles directly to one social media channel through Matcha.
What social channel is it?
What are 'Product Listings'
Matcha’s Shopify integration allows users to insert relevant product ads into articles (licensed or original). Users have options for ‘add to cart’ or ‘view item’ CTAs and can either display a single product or a collection.
Describe the current process of putting a Matcha blog article into a Springbot email.
Once an article has been published the user would...
1.) Visit the article in My Content
2.) Select the article
3.) Navigate to the 'Promotion' options
4.) Select "Promote via email"
5.) Grab the HTML code offered by Matcha and drop it into the email being built in Springbot

Raise your hand if you took the Matcha quiz before today's training. (remember I can see who did)
If most of your team completed the quiz, you get 400 points. If most of your team did not complete the quiz, the other team gets 400 points.
What is a 'canonical tag'
A canonical tag is the piece of code within a licensed article that shows Google that a Matcha user has legal permission to use the article without any duplicate content or SEO penalties. This code references the original source and owner of the article.
This code is placed on articles automatically when published.
There are two types of blog articles that a business can publish from Matcha.
What are they and what makes the two different?
Licensed content is published from the Library. This is content that is ready to go, and is not an original article.
Original content, custom content, or 'owned' content is published from the Blog Creator. This is built from scratch.
Situation: MM2-3, sending 1 email a month (2 if they can), diverse customer base, 2 person company, sells nice soaps and bath products, AOV $40.
Nominate 1 person on your team to build a compelling story of why Matcha makes sense in this Springbot subscription.
Matt's judgement
Name 1 reason Matcha is helpful for a MM1 email strategy.
Name 1 reason Matcha is helpful for a MM3-4 email strategy.
MM3-4 -- more segmentation/personalization, more athletic use of content in emails
