What do you do when you walk outside on a drill?
You walk in a quietly and straight line.
When you come to school late like after 8:30, what do you do?
You need to go to the office to get a late slip.
How do you get your group to work together?
By taking turns talking on a level 1 voice level and sharing ideas respectfully. The class is not a football game to be screaming when trying to get your point of view across.
How do you ask for help in class?
You ask your partner or group. If you still can't get the answer raise your hand quietly and wait.
When the bell ring, what do you do?
What are the students do before starting the class?
They need to be sitting down quietly with the class materials needed on top of the table. Backpacks under the table.
How many people is considered a group?
2 or more people. And every students is responsible for the group success.
When can I use the bathroom?
Before school, between classroom changes, and lunch recess, or if there is an emergency.
What happens to you when you go out to get water or go to the bathroom, and waste your time joking around with your buddies?
You might get a detention.
How do you get a detention?
For not following rules and policies:
Eating without permission For not coming prepared for class repeatedly
Chewing gum For disrespecting peers and adults
Distracting the group For unauthorized use of electronic devices
Talking excessively Major events
What are the roles for each member?
Manager, Material person, Timer, Reporter, Recorder.
What kind of food can students have in class?
Water. please be reminded that you are taking classes in a lab, and precautions need to be taken at all times.
When can I sharpen my pencil?
Before class starts or before going to your next class.. You can also trade your pencil for another.
Should I respect any teacher who is giving me directions?
Yes, we are part of a school community and all the adults present want the best for you.
Are students required to pick up any trash that they have left behind?
Yes, avoid loitering at any costs, and help pick up trash if it is near you. Help keep the classroom and school clean.
What does a good working group look like?
They are calm sharing, helping, and encouraging others and getting your work or project done on time.
How can you respect others?
By listening to them, taking turns when sharing information, and using appropriate language and gestures.
How do students line up during school drills?
Quietly and by grade level and group.
How should you behave in the hallway going down to the cafeteria?
You should go down or up as quiet as possible, because the lower levels are on classes while you are on lunch time.
When can you go out of the class?
You can't unless your teacher sends you with a note or a hall pass.
What kind of noise will working in group sound like?
Students talking quietly but not disrupting the rest of the groups.
