Cell phone and/ or head phones.
What should you do when you enter class?
Have a seat in your ASSIGNED seat and be ready to start the warmup.
When you come to school late like after 8:30, what do you do?
You need to go to the office to get a late slip.

Start the conversation.

You encourage others by saying positive things. No put downs!
How can you ask for help?
You ask you partner. If you still can't get the answer raise your hand quietly and wait.
What should students do 4th period if they have been absent from class.
See their teacher for missing work.

What are the bathroom proceedures?
Ask to use the restroom. Leave phone in bag. Take the pass. Take no longer than 10 min
When can a student ask to leave class?
After the first 10 minutes of class or before the last 10 minutes of class.

Be a principled, open-minded, well-informed engaged and reflective student.
What should you do if a member in the class is seated by themselves?
Ask them if they want to join your group for the daily speaking activities.
What are the categories that make up your grade?
Listening, speaking, reading, writing, independent practice.
What 3 items should students bring with them every day?
Fully charged computer, notebook and something to write with.
What is the dress code policy in classes?
Hats and hoods off.
School appropriate articles of clothing.
What does a good working group look like?
They are sharing, helping, and encouraging others and getting your work done.
