What you do when you want to talk in class?
What is: Raise your hand quietly until you are selected.
What are the entering procedures?
What is: Greet the teacher (high 5, handshake, hug...etc...); Lunch count; Greet table mates; Read the white board and the agenda; Get to work on AM work or posted assignment(s)
What do you when you walk to the office or lunch?
You walk quietly and in a straight line, usually in ABC order.
When you come to school late you must do this.
What is: Go to the office to get a late slip.
How do you get table groups to work together?
What is: Taking turns talking and sharing. Having a table captain.
What you do to help others work at their personal best?
What is: Encourage others by saying positive things. No put downs! Be responsible. Be polite (various answers accepted)
How do you ask for help in class when engaged in independent work?
You ask your partner and/or group or Ask 3 before me. If you still can't get the answer, raise your hand quietly and wait.
When the bell rings after recess what do you do?
You must freeze.
Where should 4th grade students use the bathroom during 1st recess?
What is: Use the bathrooms near the playground.
What do the Distributors do?
What is: Pass out papers or books or objects to all students in the class.
How students respect another students' properties?
What is: By not touching them or destroying them. Ask to use first before taking anything.
When students can use the bathroom?
What is: Before school, during recess, and lunch recess and IF necessary during independent work.
What your mouth and body are doing before you hear the whistle at the end of recess and walk to line.
What is: Freeze your mouth and body. No talking. Stop moving. Stop playing.

What food can students have in class?
What is: Food is not usually allowed. Water bottles are encouraged.
When can students sharpen a pencil?
What is: During Math independent work or during recess time, after school. You can also trade your pencil for another.
What do you do when the yard duty person blows the whistle?
You will walk quietly to you line and line up in ABC order.
What is something very important that goes home usually one day a week?
What is: Thursday envelopes FOR PARENTS
What a good working group looks like?
What is: Sharing, helping, and encouraging others in the group, staying on task, contributing and getting work or project done.
Which Lifelong Guideline encourages and expects the 18 Life Skills?
What is: Personal Best.
What is the preferred method for having a sharp pencil to write with?
What is: Trade. Give one and take one.
How should you behave in the hallway walking to the library?
You should be quiet with eyes forward, hands to self and walking in a line.
When can you go out of the class?
You can't unless your teacher sends you with a note or an office pass or you have signed out for the bathroom and are going with a walking buddy.
