1-Put away your backpack in your locker
2-Eat your breakfast
3- Use the bathroom and fill water bottle
4-Check the board for what to do
5- Answer the Daily Question in your notebook
When I raise my hand or shout "Freeze" what should you do?
Stop talking look up at the teacher. Listen.
What happens if you come to school out of uniform?
You will be asked to change, if you have no other clothes, a dojo message will be sent to your parent.

How do you get your group to work together?
By taking turns talking and sharing. being kind polite and respectful.

When you are at recess and you get in a disagreement what should you do?
Stay calm, use your words and try to talk out the issue. If it doesn't work, politely let a teacher know!
What is the expectation for Scholars in the hallway?
Level 0, facing forward. hands at your side. Being polite and respectful to those around us.
If you are working with a group, you can just copy your partner's work instead of doing your own.
No! everyone is responsible for their own work. I will ask random folks to show your work on the board, so BEWARE!
When can I use the bathroom?
Before 8:30, Before lunch/recess. NOT during instruction
Between Recess and Lunch, can you enter the classroom?
NO thanks! Classroom is closed Please bring ALL your items to recess or put them in your locker! You might get wall detention and or lose your recess time.
2nd offense-Dojo message home
3rd- offense-Parent must accompany you to school the next day.
When one person in your group doesn't want to work or keeps distracting you, what should you do?
encourage him to get working. let Ms. Michelson know what's going on.
What kind of food can students have in class?
Healthy foods, ONLY at snack time!
When can you sharpen your pencil?
Before school, or You can also trade your pencil for a Sharp one!
What do you do when the Teacher blows the whistle?
You will line up quietly and get ready to enter the hallway at a level 0.
if you get a compliment about walking quietly in the hall you get a gumball on our chart!
When can I go to the calm corner?
What does a good working group look like?
They are sharing, helping, and encouraging others and getting your work or project done.
Why should you be sure to keep a level 0 in the hallway to the cafeteria?
You should be quiet because Middle schoolers are in class working and we don't want to disrupt their learning!
When should you NOT ask to go to the calm corner?
WHen you're bored.
When you are feeling Lazy
When you haven't tried the task
When you want to play and bounce on the chairs.
What level should you be at when working with your small group?
Students talking quietly but not disrupting others.
