How do you ask to go to the bathroom?
Raise the RR sign and the teacher will say yes or no.
What do you when you walk to the office or lunch?
You walk quietly (voice level 1) and go straight to the office or lunch.
What is VOICE LEVEL 1?
A whisper.
What do you do to help others be a better student?
You encourage others by saying positive things. No put downs!
How do you ask for help in class?
Ask 3 before me -- ask you partner and group. If you still can't get the answer raise your hand quietly and wait.
When the chimes ring what do you do?
You must freeze and wait for instructions.
What is independent work?
You work alone and not with a partner. Voice level 0!
How do students respect other student's property?
By not touching them or destroying them. Ask to use the item FIRST before taking anything.
When can I use the bathroom?
Before school, passing periods, and lunch. But you can also go if an emergency during class.
What happens to you when you do not come back from the bathroom in a timely manner?
You will lose your bathroom time in this class.
How do you move around the classroom?
Ask the teacher before moving around the room. WALK!
What are the possible roles for each member?
Manager, Material person, Timer, Reporter, Recorder.
When can I sharpen my pencil?
Ask the PENCIL PATROL person before class begins.
What must you have if you are late to class?
You must have a pass from the previous teacher.
How do you participate in small groups? What does it look like?
By working together in a accountable way - both people work on the work in a respectful way.
What does a good working group look like?
They are sharing, helping, and encouraging others and getting the work or project done.
What 3 things do you do when you get in class?
Hang backpack on your chair, write the quote in CURSIVE, gnome writing in your large journal.
How should you behave in the hallway to the cafeteria?
You should be quiet and go straight to the cafeteria.
When can you leave the the class?
You can't unless your teacher sends you with a note or a hall pass. The teacher dismisses you and NOT the bell!
What kind of noise will working in group sound like?
Students talking quietly (voice level 2) but not disrupting others.
