What do you do when you come into the classroom?
You quietly walk to your seat and get into TAPS.
What areas are okay to play at during recess? Where should are you not allowed to go during recess?
You should not be along the fence line. You are not allowed to go past the fence and you should not be up past the gym doors (with the steps).
Is it ever okay to look at someone else's test or ask a classmate for an answer on a test?
No, that is called cheating and it does not help me or the other person.
How do you ask for help when Ms.Inscho is working with a small group or helping another student?
You quietly ask someone at your table. If you still can't get the answer raise your hand quietly and wait.
When the whistle blows during recess, what do you do?
You must freeze and then walk to your place in line order and get into line basics
What do you when you walk to the office or lunch?
You walk in a quietly and straight line.
What voice level is acceptable during a test?
What should I do when the class is coming to the carpet for a lesson?
Walk quietly to your carpet spot, sit down, criss-cross apple sauce with hands in your lap, voice off, and body in your own square
How many people should be on the swings at a time? How many people should be pushing the swings? How long do you have on the swings?
One person swinging, one person pushing, and 30 seconds
If an adult says, "give me five", what should you do?
Turn your voice off, put your hand up, and look at the person speaking.
What should you be using to work out problems during a math test?
I should use my scratch paper.
If Ms.Inscho is talking to the class, what should you be doing?
Your voice is off and you should be listening.
How should our bodies and voices be during a brain break?
Our bodies are under control. Hands and feet our kept to ourselves and our voices are quiet.
What do you do if you owe recess time?
Quietly sit on the bench. Talking or asking how much time you have left may end up costing you more time.
How should you behave in the hallway to the cafeteria?
You should be quietly standing on the red line until you enter the cafeteria
If you have a question during a test, what should you do?
Raise my hand and wait quietly for Ms.Inscho to answer.
How do students line up?
We line up in our line order with our bodies facing forward and our hands and feet to ourselves. voices are off
What things are off limits or not acceptable at recess?
games that involve touching others, pushing others, picking up big sticks, going too far from the playground, arguing with classmates.
How should you behave in the restroom?
You should quickly and quietly use the restroom and wash your hands. You should not be talking loudly or playing around. You should clean up after yourself before you leave the restroom.
What should you do if you are finished with a test?
Raise my hand quietly and let Ms.Inscho know. Read a book or quietly draw while the rest of the class finishes their tests.
