By raising you hand quietly until you are picked.
What do you do when you get in class?
What is put our bookbags in our cubbies, put all materials in our desk and follow teacher's directions?
What do you when you walk to the office or lunch?
You walk in a quietly and straight line.
When you are in the reading center, what should you do?
You should read on your level independently and quietly.
What is the first consequence for negative behavior?
Conference with the teacher.
How do you listen when others speak?
What is make sure our mouth is close, eyes are on the person speaking and our ears are listening?
How do you ask for help in class?
Ask 3 before me! What is ask ourselves, ask a partner, ask Ms. Brown or Ms. Moorer, then silently raise our hands and wait for Ms.Donaldson to acknowledge us?
When the teacher holds her hand up during recess what do you do?
You must stop what you are doing and line up in a straight line.
What should be done with books in the reading center?
Books should be put back in their places.
How do we earn points on class dojo?
By showing positive behaviors i.e using kind words, helping others, following directions.
How do students respect other students?
By not touching them or their things. By using kind words.
When can I use the bathroom?
Before school, before reading centers, after lunch/recess.
How do we behave in the library?
You remain quiet and follow the librarian's directions.
Who is responsible for keeping up with spelling lists for word work?
We are responsible.
What happens on Fridays when you turn in homework?
You get a raffle ticket to be called to win a prize.
How do we use kinds words with one another?
What is being nice to each other and speaking positively? (answers may vary)
What is the procedure for getting a pencil?
How do we behave in the restrooms?
You handle your business quietly, wash your hands and come out immediately to line up. We don't touch or look at others in the restroom.
What should you do when the time goes off?
We should stop what we are doing, pick up our things and move to the next center.
What is the consequence when you don't complete homework?
We will have to complete it during recess.
How do we keep our bodies to ourselves?
What is not hitting each other, not being in each other's space and not touching others?
How do students line up?
The teacher will call names one by one. Stand up, push chairs in and find our own block. Keep hands by sides or in pockets, mouths closed.
How should you behave in the hallway to the cafeteria?
You should line up correctly, find your own block and remain quiet.
How long do we have for each reading center? Each math center?
30 minutes for reading centers.
20 minutes for math centers.
What happens when you get 10 Dojo points by Friday?
We will get a treat from the treat box.
