Empty your backpack at your hook-Communication folder, books, snack, water bottle
Greet your teacher and enter with a whisper voice.
Put your folder in your mailbox.
Make sure you have a sharp pencil.
Read the board for morning instructions.

After you have completed all of the tasks:

What are some ways we can earn a class smile for our jar?
Compliment for hallway behavior, compliment in a specialist class, compliment from recess teachers
What does it mean to show integrety?
Explain how the Calm Corner is used.
If you notice your body needs a short break show the teacher the peace sign and the teacher will nod yes or ask you to wait.
If the teacher wants you to take a short break she will give you the peace sign.
Walk quietly and wait at the calm corner. Return when the timer is done.
What is something you should NOT do when teaching is happening? name at least 2

Clean up materials and be ready for learning before the timer runs out
