By raising you hand quietly until you are picked.
What do you do when you get into the classroom?
Put backpack and coat on hook, make lunch choice, get chair and blue bin, sit down and eat breakfast

Kind/respectful
What can you do when you finish your work early?
Iready, write, read to self
What can you do to help others?
Say kind things
Help someone when they have a question
Get help if someones hurt
How do you ask for help in class?
raise your hand quietly and wait.
What should you do at the end of the day before you leave?
Stack chair, put bin away, clean off desk and floor under desk
What do you need to do before you turn in work?
Put your name on it
How do we respect other peoples things?
By not touching them or destroying them. Ask to use first before taking anything.
When should you have food at your desk?
Can you keep food INSIDE your desk?
At breakfast time and snack time only

Where do students sit in the classroom?
At your desk or at the carpet
Where should you put your quick card when you're putting your computer away?
inside chromebook OR in the rainbow pocket chart
When can you run in the classroom?
Never
What do you do when we come back into the classroom from recess?
What should you do if someone is bothering you?
Tell them to stop in a kind way, move away from them, tell the teacher
What does a good classroom discussion look like?
Everyone is participating. Not shouting or interrupting others. Having respect for everyone's ideas
How can you be kind to others?
By listening to them, taking turns sharing, and using only kind words.
What can you do during a brain break?
What can you NOT do during a brain break?
Be at the carpet with personal space around you OR sit down in seat
Run around classroom, touch others, touch screen, scream
How should you sit at the carpet when it's time to learn?
Whole body listening: eyes watching, ears listening, brain thinking, body still, in my space
criss cross, mountain, mermaid
How do we use classroom supplies?
Take care of all supplies and put them back where they go when you are finished with them.
