You should always have pencils in your supply box.
There are also pencils beside each pencil sharpener.
Can I eat during class?
Yes, but only during snack time. We DO NOT keep food in our desks because it attracts bugs.

From the paper tray on the counter.

How do we line up when it is time to leave our classroom?
We stand up, push our chairs in, and stand behind our desks. We wait for our teacher to call our row to exit the room.
Can we sit wherever we want?
No, each student has an assigned desk, but sometimes we can sit in the floor or at the table.
Where do I turn in my work?
I turn my completed work into the BLUE Tray on the counter beside the door.

How should we enter the classroom?
We always enter the classroom at a level zero, sit at our desk, and wait for directions from our teacher.
What do I do about school work if I am absent?
I can complete any assignments on Google Classroom and my teacher will give me worksheets that I missed when I return to school.

Where do I put my take home (maroon) folder in the morning?
Take it out of my backpack and place it in my desk.
What do I do if I need to use the restroom during class time?
If the passes are out, I can take one and place it on my desk to let the teacher know I am gone.
If there are no passes out, I wait until my teacher is done talking/teaching and I raise my hand to ask to use the restroom.
What do I do with my backpack and lunch box?
When I get to school in the morning, I put my backpack, lunchbox, and water bottle in the cubby area.
What are teachers giving out this year when they see you following school wide expectations, being kind, and working hard?

How do I sit in my chair and what do I do with it when I leave my desk?
I always sit on my bottom with all 4 legs of the chair on the ground. When I leave my desk I must push in my chair so no one will trip and fall down.
When can I get a drink of water?
I may keep a water bottle on the counter nearest to my desk and get drinks when my teacher is not teaching a lesson. I may fill up my water bottle during our morning restroom break time.
Explain how we should act when an adult walks in the room or when the phone rings.
Be on good behavior and at a level zero so Mrs. Zimmer can hear the adult.
