They may be sharpened only at the end of the week.
Can I eat during class?
Yes, but only during snack time. We DO NOT keep food in our desks because it attracts bugs.

How do we line up when it is time to leave our classroom (not for lunch)?
We stand up, put seats under our desks, and stand behind our desks. We calmly line up in number order.
What is the procedure for going to lunch?
Only students who need to use the restroom immediately will get to go AFTER everyone else has washed hands in the classroom. Students using the restroom must use the restroom and wash BEFORE it is time for us to be in the cafeteria.
Where do I turn in my work?
I turn my completed work into the appropriate tray on the counter near Ms. Detra's closet.

How should we enter the classroom?
We always enter the classroom at a level zero, prepare ourselves for the day, and follow the prompts on the ViewBoard.
What do I do about school work if I am absent?
I can complete any assignments on Google Classroom and my teacher will give me worksheets that I missed when I return to school.

Where do I put my take home (maroon) folder in the morning?
Take it out of my backpack and place it in my desk.
What do I do if I need to use the restroom during class time?
If it is an emergency and Ms. Detra is not teaching, I can raise my hand and ask for permission.
What do I do with my backpack and lunch box?
When I get to school in the morning, I put my backpack, lunchbox, and water bottle in the cubby area.

How do I sit in my chair and what do I do with it when I leave my desk?
I always sit on my bottom with all 4 legs of the chair on the ground. When I leave my desk I must push in my chair so no one will trip and fall down.
When can I get a drink of water?
I may keep a water bottle in the hallway and get a drink during restroom breaks or when we transition in the hallway. I may fill up my water bottle during our morning restroom break time and before lunch.
Explain how we should act when an adult walks in the room or when the phone rings.
Be on good behavior and at a level zero so Ms. Detra can hear the adult.
