Raise your Hand ... wait to be asked.
Where should students wait before students are allowed in the classroom?
In the hallway (not crowding the door)
How should you speak to Ms. Lowe and others in the classroom?
Use kind and appropriate words with appropriate tone.
How do we treat substitute teachers?
With respect and kindness.
Follow classroom expectations even when I'm not there.
What does the E mean in RESPECT?
Effort- try your best
When is the best time to go to the bathroom?
When Mrs. Snyder is not teaching.
How should students behave in the hallway?
Students walk quickly and quietly to their class.
What should you do if you are absent?
When should you be on your chromebook?
Only when instructed. You should not be on it when you enter class unless the directions on the board say that.
What does the T mean in RESPECT?
Time- don't waste your time (or anyone else's)
What is the only homework you will have?
Independent Reading for 15 minutes a night
What are you not allowed to wear in the school?
A hat or hood.
When should you go behind or grab things off of Mrs. Snyder's desk?
NEVER!
What should you bring with you to class?
Writing utensils.
Folder.
Charged chromebook.
What does the R mean in RESPECT?
Responsible for your actions, work and materials.
What do you do when you enter the room?
Look at the board for directions
Is there running allowed in the hallway at any time?
No
What do you do if you need a pen or pencil?
Borrow one from the front of the room and return it at the end of class.
If I can not handle my assigned seat, what will happen
1 Offense: Warning
2nd Offense: Moved to a different seat.

What is the grade for participation, effort on classwork, behavior and prepardness called?
Biweekly
How loud should students be talking in the hallway?
Keep a reasonable volume. Inside voice.
Can you eat in the classroom?
Yes, but if crumbs or wrappers are found by anyone, your class will lose that privilege.
When should you be talking in class?
1. During class discussions, on topic
2. With a partner during think-pair-share
3. If the teacher asks you a question
Safe- don't hurt yourself or others. This classroom is a SAFE place for all people to think, feel, and learn.
