All math homework goes into the "Ms. Kemi" basket on her desk in our homeroom. Reading Logs go to the "Ms. Kemi" basket in Mrs. Zerwas' Room.

When is it appropriate for you to be on your Chromebook?
- "Tech" Tuesdays
- FLEX Math (Reflex or 99Math)
- When Ms. Kemi says it is OK to go on your Chromebook to complete an activity or play a game!

How can students respect other students' property?
By not touching others' belongings. Ask someone to use it first, before taking or using anything!
How do I ask to use the bathroom?
Use the crossed fingers hand signal, that is posted at the front of the room.
What do you do when there is a fire drill?
Remain calm and form a line at the classroom door. Walk in line (single-file), volume 0, with hands to yourself, down the staircase to the parking lot.
When is it NOT appropriate for you to be on your Chromebook?
- While Ms. Kemi is teaching or explaining directions for an activity.
- While you are waiting for a Morning Meeting game round to finish!
- During a transition time. For example, while we are getting ready to go to a specialist or Mrs. Zerwas' room for reading or writing.

By listening to them, taking turns, sharing, giving compliments to them, or working cooperatively as partners or in a small group!
How do I ask to get a school supply (pencil, whiteboard marker) from my locker or extra supply bin?
Ask Ms. Kemi (quietly and politely), if you can go to the locker area to get your supply. She will usually say yes, of course!
What happens if something happens on the playground that upsets me (such as an argument with a friend)? What happens if I get hurt on the playground?
Tell an adult on the playground FIRST and right away, so they can address the situation with you!
How are "FUN FROGS" earned?
If BOTH Mystery Walkers remain at a Volume 0 in the hallway and demonstrate "The Sunrise Way", then a "Fun Frog" will be added to the jar. When it is full, we earn a classroom reward!
