What are the ventricles?
The interlocking bones that make up the spinal column, or backbone.
What are vertebrae?
The largest group of invertebrates, having hard exoskeletons and jointed limbs.
What are arthropods?
The part of the cerebrum responsible for vision.
What is the occipital lobe?
The tough, clear dome that covers and protects the iris and the pupil.
What is the cornea?
These are blood vessels that carry blood towards and into the heart.
What are veins?
The low jaw that supports the lower teeth.
What is the mandible?
This class of creatures has six legs and three main body parts (head, thorax, & abdomen).
The area of the brain just above the brain stem that coordinates movement. It looks much more wrinkly than the rest of the brain.

The clear, jelly-like substance that fills the inner eye to give the eye form and shape.

A large band of nerve fibers that connects the two halves of the brain and allows them to work together efficiently.

The colorful, shiny material located behind the retina. Found in animals with good night vision.

Deoxygenated blood travels from the upper body and enters the heart through this large vein.
What is the superior vena cava?
The triangular, flat bone at the back of the shoulder.
