1.  A body at rest will stay at rest, and a body in motion will remain in motion unless acted on by an external force.  

2. Force = Mass * Acceleration

3. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

The Hulk is pushing against Thanos at a force of 4.5 million newtons.  Thanos pushes back with 5 million newtons.  Is this a balanced or unbalanced force?  What's the net force?

Inertia is the tendency to stay at rest or in motion.  It relates to Law number 1.

Newton's 3rd Law.  Yes, the earth does experience an equal and opposite reaction to your jump, so it moves a negligible amount.  

Newton's 2nd Law.  F = ma.  Your mass and acceleration are so tiny that your force is almost nothing against the mass of the earth.

Use Pascal's Principle to describe what happens when I squeeze a full 2-liter bottle of melted butter.

The pressure is distributed evenly throughout the bottle.  If the cap was off, though, you should spray liquid butter everywhere.  Gross.

Steve and Jeff are driving to the airport, late for their flight.  They hop into their parked car and take off!  They take 2 left turns, a right turn, speed up through a red light, and take another right, and stop in front of the airport.  They maintain 70 miles per hour at all times except for passing through the red light and at the beginning and end.  How many times did they change velocity?  How many times did they accelerate?
