(Example) The Earth is tilted on an axis. When the Earth is tilted closer to the sun, we receive more heat creating the longer days of summer. As we rotate around the sun each area of the Earth isn't as close and we receive less sunlight therefore create a new season. Altogether there are 4 seasons
