A wetland biome that often has lots of trees, such as the willow, bald cypress. and oak trees. The trees are adapted to give more support to their roots in the extra soft soil.

a grassland that often has scattered trees and that is found in tropical and subtropical areas, where seasonal rains, fires, and drought happen.

A plant, often found in deserts, with a waxy coating and needles.

The ocean zone located on the ocean floor, this area is home to organisms like barnacles.

Streams of water that join a larger stream.

Tundra that is found on top of a mountain.

An ecosystem in the Arctic Ocean and the area around Antarctica.

The area in a pond or lakes were the sunlight reaches most.

a treeless plain found in the Arctic, in the Antarctic, or in the tops of mountains that is characterized by very low temperatures and short, cool summers.

An marine ecosystem were salt water and freshwater mix, and the area gets filled with nutrients.

A treeless wetland ecosystem where plants (such as grasses) grow.
