A Rank having the saying "Once a ____ Always a ____" but after completing at least 13 or more merit badges and a project can you be this rank.
What is the Eagle Rank?
A Merit Badge so important that if you go to summer camp you do it before anything because of learning how to treat minor injuries to major ones as well. You also learn that preventing injuries is important as well.
What is First Aid Merit Badge?
A point of the Scout Law meaning you can be trusted by your patrol members and anyone like your friends at school or outside your friends. And that you are going to complete what they want.
What is Trustworthy?
This skill is very important especially in the outdoors camping when no emergency nearby you must use this skill. When your an a adult you can do a training for this.
What is First Aid?
A yearly campout that our troop goes to battle with fake wooden guns at Blackjack Battle.
What is the Battle of Blackjack?
A Rank that you work on your Eagle Rank, but you still help teach younger boys and most likely hold a leadership position in the troop.
What is Life Rank?
A Merit Badge that you learn to cook at your home, on the trail, and on a campout as well. You also learn food groups and different methods of preparing food.
What is Cooking Merit Badge?
A point of the Scout Law meaning you are happy in any task or environment you are in. Also, you have great Scout Spirit.
What is Cheerful?
A Skill that in your patrols learn over your first year by making and preparing meals and is a merit badge.
What is Cooking?
A place you go to get merit badges under the heat but have a fun time by drinking slushie(s) (after having to many!)
What is Summer Camp (Naish)?
A Rank considered by some to be the halfway mark to Eagle and you can "officially" hold leadership positions in the troop. You can also lead younger scouts.
What is First Class?
A Merit Badge offered next to Emergency Preparedness but related to water safety by learning methods for drowning and how to save people in danger in the water.
What is Lifesaving Merit Badge?
A point of the Scout Law meaning that you help people kindly and do not receive anything in return but do it for your daily good turn.
What is Kind?
A card allowing you handle knives but also saws, axes, and hatchets. This also shows that you are safe with these tools.
What is Totem Chip?
A place where you get 2 merit badges or work on trail to first class all in one day.
What is K-State Merit Badge Conference?
This Rank is after your first rank but you start to learn the ways of Scouting and learn from older Scouts how to do all of Scouting.
What is the Tenderfoot Rank?
A Merit Badge which involves learning how to respond to certain emergencies to help people and prevent injuries anywhere you are.
What is Emergency Preparedness Merit Badge?
A point of the Scout Law meaning that you are clean by leaving no trace and being clean with yourself.
What is Clean?
Where a group of people (In this case your patrol) work to accomplish tasks or requirements together and learn how to function effectively and efficiently.
What is Teamwork?
Where anyone from the country can come to Summit High Adventure Base to have fun and get to know Scouts from across the country.
What is a National Jamboree?
A Rank which you have to teach and help (With the EDGE Method!) younger boys reach First Class.
What is the Star Rank?
A Merit Badge which you learn to spend your money and time wisely and how to plan for your coming years to college.
What is Personal Management Merit Badge?
A point of the Scout Law meaning that you can overcome hard tasks and get out of your comfort zone.
What is Brave?
A card allowing you to tend to fires and learn what each type of fires do and what their uses are.
What is Fireman Chit?
A 5-6 day long training where you learn leadership skills to help you lead a troop. (Kenny and I will be gone for this!)
