Where do you find the association meeting dates in your bylaws?
The Standing Rules. Association meetings are meetings of the general membership and shall be held on months listed unless otherwise ordered by the association or the executive board.
Presidents or someone in their place should attend Council Association meetings.
YES! Like you we also need to make quorum! Your board members/chairs are invited to attend too. We also let you know any new information that is sent down from District and the State level.

False. Your board should be added. This is important because Council PTA gets the officers emails from this list. They send out information to the officers.

Yes! Students love this program! Make sure you are in good standing so your students can participate.
It is ok to take PTA money home with you to keep it safe.
No! Never take money home because it will not be covered under your insurance if you do. Go straight to the bank. Do not make stops on the way to the bank. If you have a PTA safe you can put it there. Take it to the bank promptly.
Should PTA's have committee chairs for their events?

False. The board makes recommendations to the association but the members make the final decision.

False. You always need your principals approval to host an event because the PTA is a guest on the campus.

False. They can! A member can pull motions and talk about them separately. You can approve the other recommendations and then move back to the pulled item/s.
