Being able to meet new members of my community that I usually would not.

I have learned better time management, what resources are offered on campus, and how to ask for assistance when struggling.
How has being an RA improved Sean's Academics?
I have begun to learn how to animate, skate, and improve my oil painting skills.
What are some new things Sean has started in 2024?
Seeing residents take me up on invitations to events on campus and having a good time.

I enjoy walking around and noticing all the small or subtle details around campus.

I have gained a "mini-community" that supports me in my efforts.

Shifting from displaying all that tech has to offer to trying to share something that a resident personally may find interesting or useful.
What has been the most significant change moving from South to Alta.
I have learned that curiosity is important when it comes to connecting with individuals. When attempting to engage someone the most important thing to keep in mind is to allow them to have their own questions.
How has being an RA taught Sean how to engage and connect with people?
Originally, I wanted to go into nuclear engineering. However, within the past month, that has shifted to working in geophysics as a field engineer.
What are Sean's career goals after college?
Has allowed me the flexibility to succeed as both an RA and a student

The communication between residents and myself.
What am I most proud of so far as an RA?
It is okay to ask for assistance or clarification no matter what.
What is the most important thing you've learned while being an RA?
Hiking, swimming, fishing, sculpting, mask making, and doing puzzles?
